Maple and Brown Sugar ham glaze

If you love a delicious glazed ham for the holidays, and you want to try your hand at it, this recipe is a great launching off point for you. The combination of sugars, maple syrup and ground cloves give your ham a sweet flavor, and a sweet crust. Put this on just 20 minutes before your ham is ready to be removed from the oven. Ingredients:

1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup of dark brown sugar
½ stick of margarine (melted)
1 cup of Maple syrup
½ teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions:

This glaze should be put on 20 minutes before ham is completely done.
In a sauce pan, gently melt a ½ stick of margarine. Add in cloves, syrup and stir. Set aside until mixture is lukewarm. Add in the sugars and stir. This should make a buttery paste that can now be poured onto your ham. Once you have it on your ham and well distributed return to oven and continue cooking for twenty minutes.
