Yogen Fruz Frozen Yogurt (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of Greek yogurt
- 1 cup orange juice concentrate
- 4 cups strawberries or blueberries fresh or frozen
- 1/3 cup of Stevia sweetener
- 2 1-pound cans crushed pineapple packed in its own juice (do not drain)
- 3 cups dry milk powder
- 2 bananas sliced into pieces
- 2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 6 eggs whites
- ½ teaspoon cream of tartar
- 6 tablespoons of honey
In a blender or food processor, blend until smooth all ingredients except egg whites and tartar. In a separate container, whip egg whites until whites become foamy. Add in tartar and continue blending until stiff peaks form. Gradually add in your honey until mixture is glossy. Fold egg white mixture gently into fruit mixture. Place in the freezer in a covered container. Keep checking until mixture is semi solid and beat with blender one more time. Freeze again for about 2 hours.
