Carolina style Mint Julep
Mint Julep is believed to have originated in the southern United States, some time during the eighteenth century. It is widely reported that U.S. Senator Henry Clay of Kentucky introduced the drink to Washington, D.C., at the Round Robin Bar in the famous Willard Hotel during his residence in the city. How to make perfect low carb iced tea
With all the rich and decadent flavors that will be eaten, serving a nice healthy beverage is a good way to feel a little less guilty. This iced tea recipe calls for Splenda or you can use Stevia if you like, however, you can substitute it for sugar, just reduce the amount by 1/2 cup.
